Transparent, performance-based rates. No bidding, no hidden fees — just verified skill meeting fair compensation.
Every VA on SUPERVA falls into one of six rate tiers based on their composite score (assessments + reviews + reliability + verification).
Determined by the VA's experience track: General Admin ($4), Specialised ($7), Technical ($12), or Executive ($18). This is the starting point before multipliers.
Derived from the composite assessment score across seven categories. Higher scores unlock a higher multiplier. See the assessment breakdown.
Based on completed jobs, client reviews, repeat client rate, and overall track record on the platform. New VAs start at 0.7x and build upward.
Adjusts for demand in the VA's specialisation. High-demand skills (e.g., AI automation, financial analysis) receive a slight premium.
To protect both clients and new VAs, SUPERVA enforces rate caps for accounts that have not yet built a track record.
New VAs must complete their first three jobs at the Starter rate regardless of assessment scores. This gives clients confidence and gives VAs a chance to prove themselves in real work.
Even after three jobs, VAs without any client reviews are capped at $5/hr. The first review unlocks the full formula-based rate calculation.
These caps are temporary guardrails. Once a VA builds even a modest track record, the formula takes over and rates scale with verified performance.
Your rate is not fixed. Every action on the platform that demonstrates competence moves your composite score — and your rate — upward.
Retake assessments after the 30-day cooldown. Your best score is kept, so every retake is a chance to push your Skill Multiplier higher.
Positive reviews boost your Proof Multiplier. Detailed, specific reviews from clients carry more weight than generic ratings.
A high repeat client percentage signals reliability and quality. This is one of the strongest signals in the Proof Multiplier calculation.
On-time delivery, consistent availability, and fast response times improve your reliability score — a component of both the composite rank and the Proof Multiplier.
The Market Multiplier rewards scarce skills. If you build expertise in areas with strong demand (AI, finance, technical writing), your rate benefits.
The right tier depends on the complexity and stakes of the work you need done. Here is a practical guide.
Data entry, inbox management, appointment scheduling, basic research, file organisation. Starter and Rising VAs handle these well.
Social media management, bookkeeping, customer support, content creation, project coordination. Skilled and Expert VAs work with minimal supervision.
Executive support, team management, business strategy, complex multi-stakeholder projects. Senior VAs operate at a leadership level.
C-suite support, critical operations, high-value deliverables where errors are costly. Elite VAs are the top 1% on the platform.
