How Scoring Works

Weighted Composite Score

Each category produces a score from 0 to 100. These are combined using the weights above into a single composite score. Your composite determines your rank position and rate tier eligibility.

  • Retakes allowed: You can retake any category assessment after a 30-day cooldown. Your best score is kept.
  • History tracking: All attempts are recorded. Consistent improvement signals reliability to the ranking algorithm.
  • Recency weighting: More recent scores carry slightly more weight, rewarding ongoing skill development.

How It Affects Ranking & Pricing

Your assessment composite score directly feeds into the Skill Multiplier in the pricing formula. Higher scores unlock higher rate tiers.

Composite Score Skill Multiplier Eligible Tier
0–39 0.8x Starter ($3–6/hr)
40–54 1.0x Rising ($6–12/hr)
55–69 1.2x Skilled ($12–20/hr)
70–82 1.5x Expert ($20–35/hr)
83–94 1.8x Senior ($35–60/hr)
95–100 2.2x Elite ($60–80/hr)

The Skill Multiplier is one of four factors in the rate calculation. See the full formula on the Pricing Guide.

Integrity Monitoring

To ensure assessment scores reflect genuine ability, SUPERVA employs multiple layers of integrity monitoring during every test session.

AI-Generated Content Detection

Written responses are analysed for patterns consistent with AI-generated text. Flagged submissions trigger manual review.

Tab Switching Detection

The assessment environment monitors for tab or window switches during timed sections. Excessive switching is flagged.

Paste Detection

Large clipboard paste events during written assessments are logged and factored into the integrity score.

Timing Analysis

Unusually fast completions or irregular answer patterns are flagged for review against expected completion curves.

Integrity violations can result in score nullification and a mandatory retake after a 90-day cooldown. Repeated violations may lead to account suspension.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do the assessments take?

Each category assessment takes 15–30 minutes. You do not need to complete all seven in one sitting — you can take them at your own pace over several days.

Can I retake an assessment if I do poorly?

Yes. After a 30-day cooldown, you can retake any category. Your best score is kept, so retaking can only help your rank.

Do I need to pass all seven categories?

You need to complete at least five of the seven assessable categories (reliability is measured over time) to receive a composite score and appear in search results.

What happens if I am flagged for integrity issues?

Flagged assessments are reviewed manually. If the flag is confirmed, the score is nullified and you must wait 90 days to retake. Your account remains active during review.

Are the assessments free?

Yes. All assessments are free for registered virtual assistants. There is no cost to take, retake, or view your scores.
